Reservation and Ticket Questions.

I have a weird question. We are leaving on Friday for a vacation with my Mother and her husband. All the plane tickets and hotel reservations were made with her credit card. Just got news that their good friends (another couple) were killed in a car accident last night. Moms not sure if she can make it (depending on when services are). My question is if they do cancel their end of the trip..a) do I need her credit card for the airport when we check in there. and b) will I need her cc at the motel? I really hope she can make it, but certainly will understand if she can't.

You shouldn't need her CC for the plane tickets as long as the tickets are in your own name. The CC for the hotel is really only to guarantee the room. You should be able to give them a different CC once you get there. Just make sure that those room reservations are also in your name.
