Rescheduling ADRs

I have read in previous posts about the trick of rescheduling ADRs when you are within the 24-hour period. Is there a limit to how close to the arrival time you can be? If we are within an hour of check-in time and I realize that one or more family members is not going to make it through the meal without a disaster, I can just call and reschedule, right? Then cancel using the app?

No, the "reschedule" loophole doesn't work anymore. You can expect to be charged the no-show fee unless you cancel the day before.
