Hi guys, very sad today as cancelled our august trip. Were travelling from Portugal and never been in june or august.
Looking at rescheduling for last 2 weeks june 21 or last week august/1st week september 21.
Next year I'm sure will be busier than normal! Any advice on crowd & weather wise what month to go for?

I have been there both times of year you’re thinking of. Both will probably incredibly hot and humid, I really didn’t see much difference weather wise between the two. Once when we were there in June it was 94-102 everyday. But heck we were in Disney so it was still great! The crowds in June were heavier in my opinion than August. Many schools go back before Labor Day so if you are thinking last week of August into the first week of September the crowds may be lower, I would shoot for then if possible. Early summer is much safer than late summer/early fall, in terms of hurricane risk. It would be awful for you to miss this year's trip due to Covid, and next year's due to a hurricane. Go in June.

Summer is brutal, but I do think early summer weather is better than later summer. We have been n June and August/September. June weather is easier to take. Honestly it will be crowded at both times. I’d take the slightly less humid June weather over August any day.

Being from South America I would think you would be use to hot and humid.. we stay away from aug and sept because its hurricane season and hot.
This fall we are going in October (normally we go in nov)
