Resales without broker?

Has anyone done a resale without using a broker or listing agent? Are there private companies that will just do the closing stuff for a fee, or do all of them also take a commission from the seller.

I guess what I'm asking is that if an owner and a purchaser have an agreement to sell/buy, is there an easy and inexpensive way to handle the transaction with disney?

Yes, it can be done without a broker. You will still have to cover the closing costs, recording the deed etc. and the offer still needs to be submitted to DVC to pass ROFR before anything else can be done.

Timeshare Transfers is one closing company that can assist. They can apparently provide the needed services for around $250 if you choose to have help with the process.

I would consider TT also. They will also do individual items like deed prep, escrow, etc. You can easily do it yourself if you want.
