Resale posting is driving me crazy!

Call me frustrated! There's a resale contract in the listings here that is a great deal, good price, right use year, not stripped, just what I'm looking for BUT...it's just too darn many points (and it's my SECOND choice resort)! High maintenance fees to boot. I have to restrain myself from calling to make an offer about 10 times a day. I just keep telling myself, no, no, no, and hoping somebody else will buy it before I do something crazy. Is there a support group somewhere for THIS kind of addonitis??? There's this little devil on my shoulder saying, "Go ahead, buy it, you can always rent out the extra points to cover the annual fees..." Somebody help me please!

Just wait and I guaranty the right listing will come along. We bought resale two times and never had to wait more than a few weeks each time for just what we wanted to come along....smjj

You are obviously looking at the left side of the listing, i.e., the number of points, resort, UY, etc.

Spend more time looking at the right side of the listing. You will notice many of these things $$$$$$$$$



Just say to yourself...do I want to spend $$$$$$$$$
in CA$H!!!

Then take the number of points, multiply it by the maintenance fees and then look at the $$$$$$$$$

Now, take this year's maintenance fees for that contract and multiply it by 1.03 to the 31st power. That will be your maintenance fee in 2042.

DO forget that you will be making a lot more money in 2042, and that the number is not as bad as it actually appears.

Hang on tight...the right thing will come along. I've bought resale twice and just kept biding my time until the right thing came up. I thought several times about contracts that were *almost* what I wanted, but held out to get *just* what I wanted. I'm glad I did and you will be, too!

Thanks, I needed that!!! Thanks to the rest of you all as well. It's just so hard to be patient! I have been looking for a couple months, and I think what really frustrated me was that I found THE perfect contract on another site but it was already sold. SIGH! I know, when it is meant to be, it will happen! I appreciate your help!
