Resale member just bought. Why did I get a 10% food discount?

We are not direct members and just bought in January so not grandfathered in. At Disneyland today and ordered food. I was surprised to see a 10% discount. Is this normal? I did not expect discounts.

Mobile orders at Disneyland/DCA receive a food discount, and it is automatically added to every mobile order, regardless of whether you are direct or resale. It's a glitch that has been there since they went to the digital membership cards, and it's never been fixed.

Only direct members (and Disney Visa, AP's, and Golden Oak) get a discount on mobile orders at WDW.

Beyond the $13M price tag is an HOA fee over $20k per year. But, I guess if you've got $13M to buy a house, $20k a year for the HOA fee is a pittance.
