Resale expidite the paper work or not

First I would like to thank all the memers on this board for there help as I have started the purchace on a VWL contract.

Is it worth the $45 to speed up the paper work for the closing from the title co. or is this crazy. Its not alot of money in the big picture but I don't like to throw it away. Has anyone done this?

Unless the time involved is truly critical to you, I wouldn't find it to be too beneficial. My experience with the expedited service is that it completed the process a few days sooner than without, but there was no more communication during the process.

We have purchased three resale contracts and used the service for the first one. I think that basically, the closing company will put yours on top of the pile, but it will not make a significant difference in speeding up the full process. If a few days will make a difference to you, then go for it- but otherwise, the process will still go thru in a timely fashion and you'll still get a ...
