Resale cost?

Those of you who have bought points on resale, what has been the typical closing costs or total costs outside the points? How long does the entire process take, and how soon after purchase can you use the points? Thanks for any info!

Closing costs run from $450 - $500

The process normally takes around 4-6 weeks

Once Disney has received notice of the registration of your deed with Orange County, which is the last step, you can use your points.

We used The Timeshare Store for our resale. Pat Spell was the agent. It was a very smooth process, no kinks at all. We started the process early November and were done with the process in December. CRobin gave you the clsoing cost info....that's about what we paid, somewhere in that vicinity. We didn't find it exorbitant.
