We just closed on a resale last week and the points were loaded this week. We had 40 banked points from 2009. It is a December UY, which is the same as our original contract. We have a trip planned in October with a split stay between AKV-Kidani standard 2BR for 4 nights and BLT-LV studio for 4 nights. I called MS this afternoon to see if the 40 points could be used for the trip, and she just exchanged them out. Now I have 40 more points in my 2010 UY to bank for next year!!
I thought we were going to have to try to do something creative with those points by booking one night and linking the reservation, etc.
This was really easy.
I suppose it would have been more of a problem if they were in a diffferent UY.
