Resale Agents and Communication

I'm midway through the purchase process and have been very happy with Scot at TTS - good communications with accurate info, and a nice team effort seems to be going on in the background when it's his day off. I'm purchasing from overseas, and communication is very important to me!

I'm buying through Fidelity and while the first steps where very fast, not it's dragging forever. I passed ROFR 2 weeks ago and I've not received the closing documents yet. I've asked for news yesterday but not yet had an answer.

I sent our closing docs yesterday. Spent big $ to overnight. Asked Title Co to PLEASE let me know when they got them and if all was in order. Have heard nothing. :headache: Should have sent it regular priority but it MIGHT have gotten there Saturday.

I am not happy with Rachel from Fidelity. Sh called me about a small contract becoming available at OKW. I made an immediate verbal offer and she promised to call me when she heard back from the sellers. I called again 2 days later to check in, sh apologized for being shorthanded and promised to get back to me later in the day after she reached out to the sellers again.....that was 2 weeks ago and no further communication was made! :confused3

I don't think I will try to buy through them again!
similar experience here...offered verbally...2 days later got an email that the points offered were not available...the sellers had used them from 2011 & 2012!!! how could they not know that??? didn't give me much faith in them from the beginning...

Just completed a purchase through the Timeshare Store. They were excellent in communication throughout the process. Everything that was their responsibility went quickly and smoothly. Definitely recommend them.

Just a reminder that making businesses and or words in the DISBoard filter recognizable or discussing a business that is in the filter is considered a board filter violation.

Thanks.

We bought from TSS. Scott was great about getting back to us, and on his day off they had someone designated to handle anything related to us (Jamie, I think?). This was handy later in closing when we had some issues with the title company not putting our paperwork through they were on it. Since we had just bought a house the year prior, I was happy to have another realtor hold my hand and stay in contact.

Also used Scott from TSS. He was very helpful and we had no problems with anything during the whole process of buying resale. We needed something very specific in order for it to work for us and we signed up for the TSS newsletter with new listings. We also told Scott what we wanted and he would call us if something came up between when the newsletters went out.

There has not been much mention of ******** or DVCbyResale. Has anyone used either one of these lately? Also, the one that starts with DVC has more smaller listings, but it seems like it is a one woman show. Any experiences you would be willing to share?

Thanks! :thumbsup2

EDIT NOTE: The first reseller was in our filter, and has been replaced by ******* the second reseller named is not in our filter, and I corrected the name and removed the *** that the poster had inserted. - Chuck S

See the post 2 above yours. I assume posts mentioning those have been removed.

New Owners through resale here. TTS was wonderful and would highly recommend them. Response time was quick anytime I had a question. For a first timer that jumped in they were great! Magic Title Vacation was great also!

Chuck - I apologize for the violation, I thought I could get around it by using the ***'s. Would it be ok, if I use half their name? If not, please feel free to edit again. Sorry in advance for any troubles...:guilty:

So has anyone had any experience with the people who's name starts with ****. They sound like a pretty good outfit, but I haven't heard them mentioned here much. I am also still interested if anyone had used DVCbyResale.

Thanks again!

According to our DISBoard guidelines, creative spellings and other attempts to make words in our filter system recognizable will result in an infraction.

Simply type out the actual address of the websites. If that particular website is in our filter, it will be auto-replaced with *****.

Thanks.

Chuck - My apologies again for being difficult.

It appears that won't work either. So if anyone has had any experience with DVCbyResale or the firm that has the similar name, please share. Thanks!

Thanks!

Lots of happy customers of "He who shall not be named on the Dis" both here on these boards and on another set of boards. I made my first offer through him and he was great! The deal didn't materialize, but I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

we used The timesare store to buy resale and things went GReat! Made bid by phone hour later heard back bid approved, an hour later we had our contract emailed to us. Most communication was by email, if I had question I emailed it and usually within an hour or two I had an answer. No complaints. worried that it went so smooth I might buy again!:)
