Resale add on restrictions for Blue Card holders?

Hi! We're considering adding on some resale points at Poly or BLT for the same use year as our other contract. We are currently Blue Card holders as we purchased direct at VGF. Would those add on points be restricted from booking the newer resorts like Rivera or any other newer resorts? Or since we are Blue Card holders that wouldn't matter? I heard that if we bought RIV resale, we'd be restricted to only RIV for those points, but again, wasn't sure based on the fact that we were also Blue Card holders if that somehow gets waived?

Doesn't get waived. Eligibility to book resorts is tied to the points/contract you're using not your overall membership.

They are restricted. Membership extras only give you access to the perks..it has nothing to do with where points can be used.

Resale points purchased since 2019 can not be used at RIV or future resorts, regardless of where you have access to the extras.

Even someone who is just resale and adds on direct points, but below the 150 needed for the extras, can use those direct points everywhere.

RIV Resale is restricted for everyone who buys it, it's the points themselves that are restricted because of the contract. The status of your other points is irrelevant to those particular points.
