Res made for 6 but we need 7

So we had reservations for Crystal Palace part of 6 for breakfast 5/6 last week a friend has decided to come join us for a couple days and we got all other res changed but this one. I check often to get it changed but still nothing. What are the chances of showing up and letting them know we have 7 not 6?

Keep checking to see if a reservation for your whole group or for 1 or 2 at the same time opens up. If you find a reservation for 1 or 2, ask the castmembers at the podium if you can be seated together. There is no guarantee, but at least everyone will be seated.

Cancellations will occur, especially close to the day as park visitors change their plans and cancel to avoid the $10 per person penalty.

Walking up is a last resort because CP is usually fully booked and going from 6 to 7 you will need a larger table (an 8 top instead of a 6 top). Again, while castmembers will do their best, there is always the chance that one person in your group will have to find breakfast elsewhere. If the reservation is pre-park opening there is the possibility that one person will not be allowed in the park.

We've had 2 separate reservations for 4 and asked that we be seated together at a different restaurant. They said yes, but it may take a little longer. It was only a short wait. So, it is possible as long as you have the reservation for the correct number of people.

There is no way to know ahead of time if your extra will be seated or not. You need to think what you will do if they are told they cannot be accommodated.

For every PPO breakfast I have had, the CM has never counted our party. Unless I just was not paying attention. I would never count on a CM missing the number per party, but now I wonder if they counted us and I missed it.
