Res is for 4, but now only 3 going....

Breakfast at Akershus, res is for 4. Our 4th is no longer coming. I tried to do a new reservation for just 3, but nothing's available. Should I call to have it adjusted? I've read responses that say you can show up with fewer people w/ no problem, but I'm wondering if it's better to change, so there's an accurate count in their system...

don't sweat it...if you can't switch it online I wouldn't bother calling & sitting on hold to change this. A party of 3 will get seated at a table for 4 anyway. This exact situation has happened to us several times and we got seated with no problem.

And then there's always a chance your 4th will rejoin you anyway.

Akershus is a CC held reservation though, so in this case, it's best to give them a call to have it adjusted. There are reports of people showing up with less and still being charged the cancellation fee for that extra person(s).

Normally, at non-CC/prepaid locations, it's not an issue at all though. So for any other reservations, if you didn't enter a CC in when you booked, you'll be fine.

I wouls adjust it by calling simply because it a CC reservation. Wouldn't want you to get charged $10 for the 4 th person. At other restaurants, I wouldn't bother
