Requesting Tablemates

We typically cruise with family or friends but a couple times we have cruised on our own. Once we were assigned table mates, which we enjoyed and the other it was just us. We all prefer table mates and do not want to seated by ourselves.

We will be cruising on our own in a couple months and we were wondering if we should request table mates to ensure we are seated with others. We are in main seating this time and are a family of 3.

Anyone experience requesting and what has been the outcome?

It wouldn't hurt to make the request. Typically, a small party will be seated with others, unless you are Concierge. The default for Concierge is a table alone.

We are not concierge so I will make the request. Thank you.
