Requesting Server

Has anyone been able to get a particular server that they liked on a cruise? If so, how did you go about getting the server or making your request known?

We are repeat cruisers. On our Feburary cruise, we met our former server Ferdinand who was serving lunch at Parrot Cay. He asked what our table number was (it's on your Key card). We weren't at his station, He told us to go to a table that was set up for dining requests. All we did was ask if it was possible to be in Ferdinand's section. No problem. They actually re-assigned Ferdinand to our table.

Ok, I have a question. It will 2 years since our last cruise, is there any way to see if our room attendant and servers are on the ship? The girls just loved Sylvester in the dining room!!

I guess we will have to locate this table to see if our server from the last cruise is still on the Magic. Has anyone had Alicia from Trinidad lately?
