Requesting seats with Virgin

Hi

I know it's all changed with Virgin but when can you request your seats now?

We fly October each year and I'm sure I had them booked this time last year but I wasn't sure when you can do it now??

There are 12 of us next year so would really like to try and get 3 middle rows of 4 together if possible

I would log into your booking and try, ours popped up before it should of done this year, or give them a quick call

Looking at the Virgin website, if you are travelling Premium Economy from Gatwick (not sure about MAN)you can book them when you have paid for your flight. I know this doesn't help everyone, but sure for a few it will.

Given that you're requesting interior seats, (and it's a large group) I'd give them a ring and ask for the request to be added to your booking now. The worst they can do is say no.

Site says if you are travelling PE from Gatwick after Jan 6th 2013 you can reserve seats any time.

Meaning that you don't have to wait until online check in, which has been the case for the last 8 months or so for PE flights from LGW due to the 747 refits.

90 days is the limit for every class on all flights at the moment this may change once the virgin website upgrade is completed but that could be sometime

My apologies, funny how you can read something and interpret it totally the wrong way. Been in and re read section carefully and now know. Booking flights in a couple of weeks, so glad I now have it sorted in my head

Absolutely nothing to apologise about, I know exactly what you mean about reading things and interpreting them wrong, been there done that!
