I do believe in the power of prayer - I know my son will be ok.

Austin is 11 turning 12- his birthday is on the 4th of July.

I slept for a few hours and I'm headed back to the hospital to relieve my dh.

I can imagine what you are going through. My DD is 12 and was hospitalized for 9 days in February with an infection that started from chicken pox. They couldn't seem to stop the infection and it was so close to the bone. We came close to losing her, I'm afraid. It was on her ankle, so she had trouble walking and had to use a walker. She missed a whole month of school before they thought she was ready to go back.

Hang in there. I know it's scary. Try to get some rest when it's your turn to sleep. I'll be thinking of you.
