Requesting microwaves

I posted this in the BC thread since that's where we are staying but I thought I would start a new thread as well so more people would see it.

For those of you that have requested a microwave in your room did you get it?

We want to request one when we get there in September. I know they say they have a limited number. Just wondering how many people requested one and were able to get one

Wilderness Lodge no problem, had it within an hour of check-in. All Star Movies nope, not even when I contacted special diets in advance (needed the microwave for medical need to fix allergy safe food) they told me to rent a family suite (for one person).

I've read that the mods will sometimes have them as well, but the best chance is the deluxes that have DVC suites as there are extras on site for those rooms. Since BC has DVC rooms I think you'll have a better chance than other resorts.

there are microwaves available in all food courts for your use.

Two years ago when I was at Coronado Springs, I did request a microwave upon check-in and it was there in the room when I got back from the park

Yes, we requested a microwave at BC and they brought it within 15 min
