Requested location at Polynesian

After everyone’s wonderful suggestions we entered our room request for our Poly garden view room in Sept. We requested the Tokelau building on the 3rd floor and west side (near Hawaii building) Does anyone foresee any downsides to this request??

Nope, Great choice! We stayed on the other end (close to the arcade side) in Nov 2001 and loved it.

Thanks for the thumbs up. What kind of view did you have from your room on the other end of the building? Also can you give me some ideas on the walk time from this building the main building and pool? Will we have a long walk to stairs or elevators from the north end of the building?

great choice we stayed on the first floor same area. our room was on the corner and we had a partial lagoon view. we love the poly.....

Scottie We stayed in room # 3941, which was 3rd from the end facing the quiet pool. We used the stairs often because we were so close. Almost at the bottom of the stairs is the Arcade, on the other side of that is the neverland club and laundry. The bldg was very quiet which meant no problems for DS's afternoon nap. Easy 300 ft walk to GCH and Volcano pool. Very relaxing atmosphere. Also, this location is an easy walk to the TTC(for buses and epcot monorail). I think the elevator is almost in the middle of the floor so its not far from any room. When are you going to WDW?
