I had read a while back something about sending a request directly to member services when your vacation gets closer. I am staying at the polynesian and my family needed two studios so of course I am hoping they will be connected. I was wondering if it would be worthwhile sending a message a couple weeks ahead of time to remind them of this request. Has anyone had any luck doing this before
 
We email our requests shortly after making the reservation. 14 days prior to check in we verify that the requests are still noted on the reservation. The request is either noted or it's not, reminding doesn't help get the request. The room assigner at the resort works the reservation and requests starting days prior to check in.

On the member website, find Contact Us and use the email to email your request. It will have your member number already in the email. You'll just want to add the reservation numbers to the message.
 

If, you do do the request through MS, do NOT put in any requests when you do online check-in. Online check-in over-rides any requests put in by MS.
 
Ask them to add "traveling with" to each reservation.
