So the first part of our trip, December 14th - 18th, will be with my extended family including my 75 year old grandparents. Really, they're just happy to be with all of us and are really easy going about what we do--counting them there will be 14 of us. But I know that there are things that they would really enjoy doing so I want to balance it out for them (and the preschoolers). I am just going to go over the first day and see what you experts say about my plans...

December 14th we all meet up at Rainforest Cafe for 6:30 Reservation--may try to ice skate after.

Saturday, December 15th:
We have early entry (or is it Magic Morning?--it's the Park Hopper one) so we will want to be there at 6:45 AM, right?

Straight to pictures in front of the castle.

Fantasyland--Dumbo, Snow White, Peter Pan, Alice, Tea Cups, IASW, King Arthur and Mr. Toad's. (And anything else I may have forgotten). Send someone to get FP's for SM asap in that time frame.

Finding Nemo

Maybe send someone to get FP's for SplashMTN or do it after Matterhorn--some of the kids won't be able to do Matterhorn and I don't think I want my grandma to do it--she had her hip replaced--it will of course be up to her.

Matterhorn

Take train from Tomorrowland to NOS.

Get FP for HM.

POTC

SplashMTN (I want DD's first "roller coaster" to be SplashMTN if possible--I think she will be hooked on them if it's her first).

Head to Critter Country and ride Winnie the Pooh and Davey Crockett's Canoes (any idea if a baby can go on this boat ride?)

Get BTMRR FP

Lunch at the Golden Horseshoe at 11:30-ish. No reservations allowed and first show starts at noon (remember there are 14 of us).

Do BTR

Shooting Gallery

Ride the Columbia

Use BTMRR FP’s

Use HM FP’s

Wander through NOS to Adventureland.

Get FP for IJA

Explore Tarzan’s

Ride Jungle Cruise

Dole Whip at Tiki Room

Main Street for Parade at 4 PM

I know we have skipped a lot as we walked by it but we still have the evening and three more days and I don’t want to the Mark Twain, Columbia, Davey Crockett Canoes and Jungle Cruise one after the other, let alone all in one day! My Grandpa’s only requirement is the snow after the fireworks while the carols play. My aunt assures me I will see him “cry like a cute little baby.”

I was thinking that after the parade we can wander Main Street—check out Mr. Lincoln, the Disney Gallery, get silhouettes done of all the kids, and take the train to Tomorrowland and catch the Monorail to DtD for dinner.
Then come back for Fantasmic! and fireworks if possible. Does it only snow on Main Street?

Thanks for any pointers. I made the must-do in bold and everything else is really flexible. The times on everything are flexible as far as my group is concerned.
Thanks again!

You are much like me with the scheduling :)

Your schedule seems pretty good. However you will find when you arrive that your schedule will probably be more of a guideline. With so much to do and so many people its going to be tough to stick to your schedule, so my advice, keep your schedule of your mealtimes and have the rest just be wherever you happen to land :) otherwise you will find yourself stressed to the max. And that would be no fun for you.

As for Golden Horseshoe, had lunch there last week during show time and it was crazy busy as usual. Keep in mind you might not all be able to sit at the same table. Try to arrive about 20 mins early so you have a better chance of finding seating. If you sit near the front you have a better possibility of getting picked for the show.

It snows on Main Street and near small world area right when the fireworks end. Do not miss that!! It's breath taking.

Also make sure to catch the Christmas parade. It's an oldie but goodie. :)

I hope you guys have a great time and just remember to relax and enjoy yourself :)

Thanks! We are really flexible and even with the times. Perhaps we will arrive at lunch earlier. My aunt said that when they went to WDW the whole group was constantly saying, "I don't know, what do you want to do?" I just want to have a general plan. For me, it's not a big deal because we are doing 10 days in the park, may actually do 11 (and just do some half days)--so I would like for them to all get to do what they want to do and make it leisurely on my grandma (my grandfather still rides his bike for miles every day).

Thanks for the input and I would love other's as well.

I would do Peter Pan, then Dumbo. The line for Peter Pan gets long quickly. Snow White won't have much of a line.

+1
After Peter Pan and Dumbo, you can easily do the rest of Fantasy Land in about half an hour - 45 min if you are there during Magic Morning.
