request a 2 bedroom proper not a lock off at BLT?

Is it possible to insure you get a 2 bed room not a lock off? The extra queen bed is a must for this trip and Ive been told that even if you book a 2 bedroom proper sometimes you get a lock off instead. Is that true?

Yes, you get to pick which one you want with a reservation.

A 2-bedroom lock-off will state "lock-off" in the room type. A dedicated 2-bedroom will just say 2-bedroom.

Unless there is a maintenance issue, you should get the type you have reserved.

I haven't heard of this happening to anyone yet, but I suppose it is possible. I don't what the likelihood is of a problem causing them to put you in the wrong type.
