I'd love to see some stuff too. Was totally (happily for the attendees, of course) envious!Would love to see any full reports or pictures from this weekend! I've seen that folks had a great time on the pinned thread, but would love to live vicariously through details![]()
I wish I was 3 states away. Here's my report: I was at home, three states away, following along on Twitter and Facebook and becoming more and more jealous by the minute, to the point where it bordered on resentment.
I'm just kidding about the resentment part. Not the jealousy part, though.
Right there with you KingLlama. My facebook feed was swamped with DISapalooza posts as so many of my friends were there and we weren't. Jes, if if makes you feel a tiny bit better, I'm 7 states awayHere's my report: I was at home, three states away, following along on Twitter and Facebook and becoming more and more jealous by the minute, to the point where it bordered on resentment.

A friend of mine was there. She and her hub had a blast
One interesting pic she sent me showed a cash register at one of the places selling hot butter beer. The pic was from around 10:30, so a little over an hour into it
The register was already up to over $3000.00
That's a lot of butterbeer
Perhaps the register had a running total for the night just to track inventory for their systems and this is what the retail cost would have been had everyone been paying...Butterbeer... hot and cold...was complimentary.
Not one guest paid for Butterbeer.
The only thing that needed to be paid for was alcohol and Coke products.
Your friends photo was inaccurate.

I know that Bars/Pubs do that here, especially when there is a Tab on the bar for an event for example, that way once the tally reached the limit, people can be advised.
Perhaps, but I still would assume there would be a tally for inventory purposes. the $ figure was irrelevant to the party, but could still be an indicator of how many butterbeers were served.Or it can be a totally made up number.
There was no limit on what was served.
I understand that Kevin. It was complimentary but must have been enteredButterbeer... hot and cold...was complimentary.

And it was meant more as a compliment to the Dreams Unlimited sponsorI understand that Kevin. It was complimentary but must have been entered
Or a mistake by a team member
