Hey Disers. I am at WDW right now, and thought I would give you guys the play by play on my trip each day.:dance3::dance3: This is the first time I have taken my laptop to WDW. I will make sure I bring it from now on.

Day 1 - 10/9

Checked into CSR and headed to the park. I was pleasantly surprised with our room. They have updated the rooms because it wasn't like this when I was here in May/June. The decor has been updated and painted. There are dark cherry style dressers and desks now. There are three (3) plugs on the computer desk, along with the HSIA internet plug. The table and chairs is gone, but they added two (2) ottomans. The room has a 32 inch flatscreen television. They have replaced the curtains separating the bed area from the vanity area with two (2) sliding doors. I like the changes.

Okay, the parks. We went to evening EMHs at AK. We walked onto every ride with the exception of EE. It said there was a 20-minute wait, so we decided to ride that one on another day. We got there at 5:00 p.m., so we missed Kilomanjaro Safari.

Around 7:30 p.m., we decided to head over to Epcot for the F&W Festival. We made a quick trip around the World Showcase, sampling the food. I am going to have go back again so I can take my time. I thought the food was better last year, but I will try again just to make sure. Epcot was not really crowded like normal, even with the Free Dining. However, there was the normal crowd of overly intoxicated people. Just not as many. We stayed and watched half of Illuminations, and we were just tuckered out. It was time to call it a night.

Day 2 - 10/10

We got up and went to EMHs at DHS. We opted to get the FPs for TSM. Wrong move. I don't know what we were thinking. We should have gotten on the ride, and then got the FPs. Anyway, the line was almost back to the backlot. We started out right in front of the coke bottle that sprays water. We were in line from 8:10 a.m., and were existing the ride about 8:58 a.m. It didn't seem that long, though. Time does fly when you are talking the whole time. We got FPs for RnR, did some shopping, and left for ADR's at Boma. There seemed to be more people there for the EMHs than when the park opened for regular admission.

Boma was yummy as usual. That's all I have to say about that!:yay:

We stopped at DTD for shopping, and headed back to the room. We are getting ready to head back to DHS, and then later to MK. It is going to be interesting to see if we can stay up until MK closes at 1:00 a.m. I will keep you posted.:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

My family and I are scheduled to be at WDW from OCT 16-21. I'm sure I will be reading this report everyday for the updates. How are the overall crowds at the parks? pluto:

Love it that you're posting from the World! Great intro, keep updates coming! :cool1:

We're going to be there 10/24 through 11/2! :woohoo:

Meant to say in my previous post that Boma is a favorite of ours...LOVE everything about it!

Good luck staying up until 1am!:)

Okay I'm back. I will continue with yesterdays report.

Day 2 - 10/10 (cont.)

We went back to DHS. We used our FPs for TSM and RnR. Other than those two (2) attractions, there were not a lot of people in the parks. TSM said there was a 100-minute wait, but the line was only filled about halfway inside. Go figure, maybe they had not updated the display board. This was about 5:00 p.m. All of the other attractions, we pretty much walked right on.

After this, we headed over to MK. I needed my double fix of Spectromagic. This was a two (2) night parade. We were right at the beginning of Main Street where the parade comes out. People did not really start lining up until about 8:45 p.m. There were swarms of people trying to exit the park between the first parade and after the fireworks. We tried to get a look at the desert party, but there were so many people trying to move through the crowds, we decided to wait until today.

We rode the TTA. It seems so mundane now. I wish they had not changed to this new generic spiel. The other one was entertaining. I put out an APB for Mr. Tom Morrow, but no one seems to be able to find him. There is a reward for anyone who does.

Anyway, once the fireworks were over, people started leaving. The park cleared out, and we had no problems getting on rides. We saw the last showing at the Hall of Presidents. It was a good show, but I don't think the animotronic President looks too much like our real President Obama. Just my opinion, though. We are going to go back and see it again. We rode a few rides, and then it happened. We really tried to stay at the park until the 1:00 a.m. closing, but we made it until 11:30 p.m. We were pooped, and called it a night.

Day 3 - 10/11

We got up around 8:30 a.m. because we weren't going to the Gospel Brunch at the HOBs until 10:30 a.m. If you have never been, you have to go. We have been several times, and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious, and they have an omlette bar and carving station. This breakfast brunch is all-you-can-eat. So yummy, yummy. Apostle J. L. Cash and Praise were there, and they are always fantastic. So you can eat, and get your praise on before noon. This is good for us, since we miss our regular church. We were full when we left. We decided to do some shopping at Prime outlets to walk off the food.

The Character Premier had some really good stuff today. Sometimes they are hit and miss. They had a lot of golfer's clothing for both men and women. They also had Tommy Bahama for women. This is just a small list. Of course, while in the store, I could loudy hear the Coach outlet screaming my name across the way. I had to buy two (2) bags. I mean, "what's a girl to do?":confused3 After a little more shopping, we headed back to the hotel to relax.

We are going to take a quick swim, and we will be heading back to the parks. We may go back to DHS to see Fantasmic. I have not seen this one in a while, or we just may see Illuminations. Tonight the MK has EMHs until 2:00 a.m. I wonder if we can stay the whole time? Stay tuned.:surfweb:

Overall, the crowds are not bad. I have been pleasantly surprised.

I could not agree more, Boma is awesome and yummy.

Allright, it's off to the pool.:cool1:

Great post! Keep them coming! :goodvibes

-I've been curious about the renovations to TTA & HOP...We'll be sure to check both out when we're there in...drum roll...12 days and counting down! :cool1:

I've never been to the Gospel Brunch at the HOBs. I always miss my church service while at WDW, so this might be a good fix for me and my crew! Thanks for the tip! :goodvibes

We also shopped the Prime Outlets Nov08 trip...Went in for socks, and came out with 2 full shopping bags! Easy to do!

Thanks for all the up to the minute info. We leave this Friday and my daughter already can't sleep. I hope the crowd levels stay down for our vaca. Keep the info rolling out.

*some people call me the space cowboy*

Whew, let me continue with the update from yesterday.

Day 3 - Oct. 11 (cont.)

We stayed in the pool longer than we expected, but it was fun. By the time we got ready to go back to the park, it was 8:45 p.m. We headed to DTD for some ice cream, and then it was off to MK around 9:30 p.m.

We milled around in the shops, and made our way to the Hall of Presidents. By then, it was after 10:00 p.m. The park was beginning to clear out then. After we saw the show, we headed to the other attractions. EMHs started at 11:00 p.m. We walked onto everything in five (5) minutes or less. By midnight, there was no wait for anything but Peter Pan's Flight. It had a line the whole time. It was at least 30 minutes.:confused3 We went on It's
A Small World, and had the whole boat to ourselves. No one was in the boat before us, or after us. How often does that happen?:cool1:

In Fantasyland, Mickey and Minnie, Donald, and Pluto were doing character greetings. This was around 12:15 a.m. At around 1:10 a.m., we called it a night. Excuse me, called it a morning. We almost made it to park closing. Oh well, we had fun, and the park was pretty empty. We planned to be up for the morning EMHs at AK.

Day 4 - Oct. 12

We got up this morning a little late, but we made it inside AK by 8:15 a.m. We are suffering from lack sleep. Just need some pixie dust to get through the day.:tinker:

We rode EE four (4) times, and Dinosaur once before 9:30 a.m. There were no more than five (5) to eight (8) minute waits. The crowds were pretty light.

I headed solo over to Camp Minnie/Mickey for the 10:00 a.m. FOTLK show. At 9:55 a.m., they had not started the hand jive practice, or did any of the announcements. This was not a good sign.:rolleyes1: I sat next to a lady whose daughter worked in Guest Relations. Right at 10:00, she texted her mom that she thought the show had been cancelled. Sure enough, they announced the first showing was cancelled due to "unforseen circumstances. They did however, have the cast of the show come out to meet and greet, and take pictures. My favorite guy was not performing in this show. No worries. I will see him next month when we come back.

Did I forget to mention we were coming back at the end of November? Oops, well that will be for another report.;)

There were a lot of upset people who didn't get to see the show.Hopefully, things would run smooth for later. We headed out of the park to go back to the hotel to take a much needed nap. As we were driving out at 10:30 a.m., we noticed they were just filling up the last full row of the "Dinosaur" section of the parking lot.

Taking a nap was not easy. Wouldn't you know it, Mousekeeping came in early today. I know I was in lala land until then. We are going to get a quick bite to eat, come back and start packing the suitcase for tomorrow's trip home.

The rest of today is going to be spent at the F&W Festival, and seeing Kool and the Gang for the Eat to the Beat Concert. We are also going to head over to DHS for their evening EMHs.

Okay, I'm off. People are waiting for me. So much to do, so little time.:cheer2:

pluto:Thanks so much for all of the info during your trip. My family and I are excited about our up coming trip. We are also excited about the low attendance currently at the parks.

It is early in the morning, so I have got to hurry up before we leave for home.

Day 4 - Oct. 12 (cont.)

We ended up going to Epcot for the F&W festival, and to see Kool and the Gang. I must have been looking at something else, because I thought their first concert was at 5:45 p.m. It was at 5:15 p.m., so we were rushing.:headache: They were awesome.:thumbsup2 When they did "Ladies Night", they invited the women to come up on stage. One lady was really getting her groove on up there, and he danced with her. I think it was one of best concert shows I have been to at WDW. Now this is the era we had real music.:dance3::dance3:

Before we saw the show, we sampled some of the food at the festival. After the show, we went and ate some more. We went back for the second show, but the first one was better. Enjoyed it just the same. Then we ate some more food. By then it was around 8:00 p.m. Let me tell you, I was starting to feel it.

We were going to go to DHS for EMHs, but I was not feeling well. I know we ate way too much. It's hard when you are trying to taste everything. I didn't even get my funnel cake!:sad2: The second day at the F&W Festival was much better. We just ate too much, and had tummy aches. So, we went back to the hotel, and that was it. Sometimes the best laid plans fall apart.

We had such a good time, and ate to our hearts content. We are looking forward to the next trip at the end of November. I just love the holidays at Disney.:lovestruc

We are going to go to breakfast at Shoneys, since we don't have any where we live.:worship: Then it's off to the airport. Well, I am signing off until I get home.

We always try to go to a waffle house when we are in the south. Oh, and sonic, but a few have popped up here and there in the upper midwest.

Hi guys,

Well we are back from another trip to WDW. These trips just seem to fly by so fast. We had so much fun.:woohoo: I really enjoyed doing my first thread while actually being in WDW.

I am looking forward to our next trip at the end of next month.:dance3: Oh, the holidays at Disney. Can't wait!:banana:

I think I am going to do another thread while we are there. I am trying to get the pictures in, but I am having trouble with Photobucket.
