I found this on an RCCL board and thought it might interest some fellow DCL Cruisers. It is a report from the 2/15 Mariner of The Seas sailing out of Port Canaveral and offers alot of comparrisons to a DCL cruise that the poster was also on.

Jody ~ Thanks for the link...I read it ALL (it was VERY long) and really enjoyed it.

Thanks again!!

HI! I too agree it really is a very long report but very informative. I have no experience on any cruise line so all this info is great. Our first cruise on DCL isn't until December 04 but I am already trying to decide about our 2005 vacation. After reading about RCCL (which I was considering for our 05 cruise) I think we'll stay with DCL. I think that report really helped me decide that my children would enjoy a second Disney cruise over the RCCL. I think because of their ages that DCL would be the better choice. I think with all things being said about the children's programs onboard the RCCL that an older children would like the RCCL. I'm not saying that older children do not DCL because I have no experience on either. But going by that report RCCL isn't as geared to younger children as well as DCL is. I'm sure children of all ages (even those who refuse to ever grow up, like myself) love the DCL. Thanks again it was very helpful.

Jody,

Thanks for the link. We're cruising on the Mariner next month...we cruised DCL with Mojomanny a few years ago (as I remember, he offered a detailed review of that cruise, as well!) :D

Enjoy your turn on the Navigator!
