Replies needed from Great Pin Adventure Attendees!!!

Hi everyone!!

As you have read, there will be lots of little meets (we call them WIWI's ) happening in the days leading up to the Big Pin Adventure on Sat 8/11.

Not only do these WIWI's promise to be a lot of fun.. they will also be opportunities for you to pick up your adventure lanyard and pin so that you can use them prior to Satuday.

We would like to get an idea of how many people will be coming to the different WIWI's and which one would you like to pick up your pin and lanyard at. It will help us to know this so we aren't carrying all 200 where ever we go. (Do you really want Jeff to be walking around looking like that picture he posted a few days ago??)

Here is a breakdown of the WIWI's that have been posted (yes, there might be more.. actually you can count on it!) :

Weds 8/8
Boardwalk Pin Cart - 6pm

Thursday 8/9
Canada Pavillion - 12:30pm
MK Jungle Cruise - 6:30pm
PI Adventurers Club -10pm

Friday 8/10
Survivor Group Photo at the TTC - 8:30am
Monorail (Meet at the TTC) -9am
Tower of Terror - 3:30pm
Contemporary - 7:00 pm

Saturday 8/11
Animal Kingdom - 7:45am

Also if you could post to this thread and let us know what WIWI's you are thinking of attending so we can get an idea of how many people are coming, we would appreciate it!! As more WIWI's are announced, I will add them to the list!!

A couple of things to add.. if you have family members or friends coming with you that ordered lanyards, please include their names when you RSVP.. and don't forget to bring the pin you are trading for the lanyards!!

I will be at the Boardwalk ( staying there just like Tiggersmom) and hope to get my lanyard then. DS ( Nicholas) will be there too.

Taking Epcotkilterfans advise and buying a new Game Boy Game ( does that mean I can bill Debbie for the cost?)
Hope that keeps the 10 yr old busy whilst I am trading.

Will Leighton be there....if not....."heads will roll".

As to your second question, which WIWIs are we attending...The CT contingent hopes to get to them all, but the reality is we may have to miss the Jungle Cruise in order to pick up Dom at the airport, and Tower of Terror may have fewer riders than watchers...if you know what I mean. We are also struggling to fit a few others in, but are hoping to find a few extra hours each day so we can do everything!

I am planning to try and come to all of them except the Boardwalk as I won't be there for that one. I am also going to try and email pics of Britt each day of us at the different WWIW and have him post them so everyone can kinda be there with us...

I would like to pick-up my pin/lanyard/card at the Boardwalk WIWI.

I am also gonna try to attend all but the Friday a.m. festivities. Will anyone be there after all that's going on on Thursday (including the late night AC adventure)?? Then again, if I miss AC, then I will try to come to the Friday a.m. meets (note: I am not a morning person!)

The All-Star Pin Trading Team will be at the Boardwalk on Wednesday ready to trade. All of us will have different abilities to make it to different meets.

Brer_Frog (Roy) can make all of them.

ReallyGoofyMom (Janice) can make it to almost all of them, but not to Thursday's Adventure Club at P.I. meet, and the Friday's Tower of Terror meet. And alas, poor #1 Minnie Girl (Michelle) starts school on Thursday, she will make to the Boardwalk, Jungle Cruise, and the Contemporary meets. We will let you know about the others when they decide which meets they can make!

In the meantime, everyday we sort through our pins for just the right ones to trade with you.

After much consideration, we have absolutely determined, beyond a shadow of a doubt, with no reservations, that we will definitely meet up with you . . . somewhere.

But, we have narrowed it down a little.

Forget Wednesday, we'll still be in Maryland.

Thursday at Canada is definitely out too.
Jungle Cruise is an iffy maybe, maybe not.
Pleasure Island is a real but uncertain possibility.

Now on Friday . . .
The TTC is very appealing, but very early, so it's really hard to say.
The ToT at 3:30 is a distinct probability, but it will be very hot, so I don't really know.
The Contemporary is a . . . sure thing!

So, if it doesn't work out before, we will count on swapping trading pin for lanyards at the Contemporary.
