Replace my WDW reservation with DVC points renting

I have a reservation with WDW with dining reservation, if I add a rented DVC points reservation for the same dates will this cause any issues? I will be cancelling my room reservation with WDW.

ADRs are totally separate, so there will not be any issues with them.

No, It will not automatically cancel your ADR's. It will just show two reservations for the time in your MDE once you add the new reservation.

I did this for our upcoming September trip. I had booked a reservation for the Contemporary directly with Disney, then decided to rent points and stay at BLT. I was concerned it might create issues having two resort reservations temporarily, but everything went fine. Once I had the points reservation in place, I cancelled my reservation at the Contemporary. ADRs are a separate system so those won't be affected.

I assume you are outside your 60 day FP window so should have no issue. Restaurant reservations have no ties to onsite stay once made so canceling a reservation for rooms does not affect the ADR system in any way.

You'll be fine! I did the same for our upcoming trip next month. Booked Coronado then switched to renting points at Kidani & OKW after hearing about construction at Coronado.
