Renting vs. owning benefits

We are renting points for a stay for the first time and I've been reading about benefits that owners get like free popcorn refills.

Do people that rent points get that as well or are those just for owners? Not a deal-breaker either way but if I can save $3 on popcorn, I'd like to save $3 on popcorn.

Renting will not provide you with free popcorn but will provide you with a sizable savings over what Disney charges.

Don’t feel too bad about it as not even all owners receive that benefit. Only owners that qualify for Membership Extras receive that perk.

I’m not sure what type of room you are getting but you will have access to laundry using the laundry room or the one in your room if you have a 1 bedroom or larger room.
