Renting points?

If you have extra points left over and are not planning on using them do you always have good luck renting them out? We have some left and I am really hoping to sell them. Plus has anyone not gone to Disney and instead renting out the points and used the money to go else where?

Yes. There are many people who do exactly that most especially for Disney Cruises.

Yes we will rent any unused points not that we often have any left but it is a great way to cover the cost of dues. We also rent if we are going to cruise as it makes far more sence to rent and pay cash than to trade out for it.

Don't forget, within the rules of banking, you can always bank the points to next year. Even if you always wind up with 20 "extra" points, eventually you'll have enough banked you can either take two vacations, a longer one, a "larger room" one, send a dearly loved one to WDW, go offsite to VB or HHI, or rent a reservation rather than just a few extra points. You have options.
