Renting Points?

I've read how you can "rent" points at BWV and Y/C . Does this mean you don't have to actually buy into the time-share? Can I just rent points from someone? Does anyone have any info on this? TIA

You don't have to buy into DVC to rent points. Under the Disney Vacation Club here on the DIS, there is a rental board with answers to questions and other info. Check it out. I'm sure you have a lot of your questions answered. Good luck!
