renting points than adding on

I am not sure where to post this, so I am going to start here. I was thinking of renting points again this trip, and was wondering about adding on dining plan and tickets. I know I will pay the renter for the points, but do I pay the person I rent from for the add ons or do I pay on arrival. When I go hunting for points do I need to say that I want to add on or do I need to wait. Thanks for any help......Gail

You purchase tickets when you check in. You pay for the dining plan when you check in. But the member has to let MS know that you want the Dining Plan ahead of time (at least five days notice to MS).

Or you can purchase tickets from an authorized ticket reseller ahead of time.
