Hi, First I apologize for being a newbie, but can someone answer a few questions for me?
We are looking to rent points for the OKW for a trip in November. We also want to get Walt Disney World World Hopper tickets and the dining plan. Does the DVC member make that request when making the reservation? Do we make the request when we check in?
Any tips for staying at OKW?
Any tips for protecting ourselves while renting?
Thanks for you time and and any knowledge/advice you are willing to share.

The DVC member would be responsible for booking your stay. Once he or she gives you a confirmation number you can call MS and book the Dining plan, theme park tickets, or anything else. Dining plan must be purchased before check in though...at least a day. I never stayed at OKW so I do not have any tips for you. As far as protecting yourself...well the rental market here is all about trust. The DVC member has complete control over his or her points through out the booking. If you respect the renters terms....payments and such...everything will go great. :thumbsup2

The dinning plan needs to be added to your reservation at least 24 hours prior to check in. You pay Disney at check in for the plan. You can also add Magical express to the reservation which should be added at least one month prior to check in. You can purchase your park tickets at a discount through a broker. If you go to www.mousesavers.com and subscribe to their free monthly newsletter there will be a link to additional savings through a broker. The newsletter comes out on the 15th each month. You need to get on the newsletter list early in the month in order to get the newsletter. We bought our tickets this way and have never had a problem.

Actually, you need to add the Dining Plan at least 48 hours before check in. You pay for it at check in.

Best wishes -
