renting points, how do I add a celebration?

We're renting points through Dave's. Staying at Animal Kingdom Savanna View. How can I add a celebration to the reservation? Through Dave's or during online check in? My reservation is linked to my MDE already with my annual passes.

Go to: MyDisneyReservation.com

Make sure you are not logged on to MDE when you click the above link. Select 'Using a Disney Vacation Club membership', then enter your reservation information. There will be an Add Celebrations link at the bottom of the page once the reservation is displayed.

thanks for this info. friends of ours booked a trip with points from a friend who is a member and i was trying to find out how to do magical express cause when i caled member services yesterday they were no help and very mean about not having them call if they aren't members. that's a whole other story though. thanks for the link. i must have tped it in wrong last night cause i got up the mde page instead and got confused. just clicked on your link and it worked. this is where they will do magical express setup correct?

The MyDisneyReservation.com site is only to add celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.). On-line check-in can be done using that site also.

DME needs to be added by the owner through MS. There is a direct link to DME (and phone number), but I don't have that information since we are local and drive.
