Renting points - bands question

If you are renting points from a member (more like borrowing in our case) how does it work for mickey bands? And fast pass + reservations? anybody experienced this yet?

Once you get the room reservation from the member, you link it to your MDE profile. This will allow you to customize the MagicBands. Shipping is to US addresses only, so you will receive the customized MagicBands at check-in. As for FP+, you need to have park admission linked to MDE in order to make advance FP+ selections.

Awesome. I didn't realize I could link it to my MDE. What a relief. It is a friend of the family that I am borrowing the points from and I don't want to make them crazy but I do want specific colours, and the ability to obsessively check for ressies etc!

We just did this with friends also. I'm borrowing some of their points and they made a reservation with their points under our name. I linked it to MDE and all is well. I can choose MBs etc.

Just make sure the reservation has YOUR email address on it and all of the notifications regarding ordering magic bands, FP+, dining, etc. Will come directly to you.
