Renting Points at BLT

For someone renting points for an upcoming stay at BLT through DavidsVacationCLub, can you expect to have 'DVC Member' printed on your KTTW Cards, or no? First, I'm assuming based on reports that KTTW Cards will still be issued despite the possession of MBs (Trip is 10/27-11/4). Although I understand that most DVC membership perks aren't available to me as a renter, specifically I'm curious if I'll be able to access the TOTW club via a KTTW Card bearing that designation.

now that DVC members staying onsite (not necessarily BLT) are allowed to the TOTW lounge, the cast members will almost certainly ask to see your blue DVC member card. since you won't have a member card, you would probably be denied.

We were there last weekend. I am a DVC owner and "member" was not printed on the room key. When accessing TOTW lounge they did ask to see my member card before allowing me access. We also had MBs but were given a room key in case the MBs did not work.

Cast members were checking both KTTW cards and DVC membership when I was there in August

I'm a DVC owner and I can't remember the last time "member" was printed on my KTTW card. Funny thing is that when we were there in July, DH's card had "member" on it and mine didn't. I'm the "member" not him. I purchased DVC before we were married and his name isn't on the deed.

Oh and I've never been up to TOTWL when they didn't ask to see membership cards - either my own or other people waiting to go up.

FYI, "DVC Member" has not been printed on the KTTW cards for about 2 years. This perk is only for members, so , no, you will not be able to visit unless you are staying with a member who takes you up with them.

Thanks for all of the input....what I thought. This is our last "test trip" to see which DVC prop we want to buy into. Exclusive access to the TOWL just adds to the allure of buying in.

just be aware that perks like that can be taken away from members at any time...
