Renting Points and Insurance

I am thinking of renting points for my next vacation. However, I am worried if something goes wrong during my pregnancy that I may have to move my trip. (very unlikely but possible) Are there any travel insurance companies that cover you in case of not being able to travel due to an illness or pregnancy?

Some of the brokers offer insurance. I don't think any "normal" travel insurance would cover a point rental scenario.

Regarding pregnancy, I would check the policy terms to see if it's covered. Also look at pre-existing conditions wording.

I wouldn't consider renting points if I knew from the outset that there might be any possibility that I would need to cancel. Book with Disney for that trip and look into renting afterwards.

I am not sure you would find insurance that would cover you satisfactorily for a problem in your pregnancy with renting points- this is probably a trip that would be better served going through Disney so you have easier cancellation privileges.
