We own DVC and are not interested in trading out since it's not a good value for us. However, I would be interested in renting other timeshares from time to time when we vacation elsewhere. Is there a good, reputable website to broker non-DVC rentals? Outside of DVC, I'm a timeshare novice to say the least.

I think I used Redweek or VRBO for a beach vacation once.

Check out tugbbs.com. TUG is basically the DIS equivalent for all timeshare systems. You'll find lots of familiar names in the DVC section and scattered across the various forums as many folks that own DVC also own other timeshares, and they have two different ways to search for rentals. There's one section for last minute rentals that have a cap of $700, and another section (Marketplace) that have others.

It's a great site to learn more about non-DVC timeshares.

Good luck,

Chris

redweeks will likely be the best and have the better prices overall. Ebay will have even better prices but also carry more risk.
