My family is coming to Disney World in November. We usually drive in from PA, but this year we are flying and don't want the hassle of bringing our golf clubs... we really want to golf.

Do the courses like Lake Buena Vista and Magnolia rent clubs to Disney Guests...or DVC members selectively?

If so, has anyone had experience with it.

Thanks...

Call the course(s). I recently read that if you pay full regular green fees, club rentals are free. Not sure when that expires.

Disney is more than happy to rent anyone clubs but its price is expensive, $45 per person per round plus tax. Sometimes there is a DVC discount for club rentals but there is not any right now.

If you pay regular price for golf and don't use DVC, AP or other discount, you can currently get clubs for free (don't know how long that will last): http://bookwdw.reservations.disney....romotionCode=fy11golfclub&market=fy11golfclub

Unless things have changed since December, juniors get rentals at no charge.

so if i pay cash and book a regular room i can get free rentals, but if i am staying on dvc points i have to pay?

No. If you pay full price for the round of golf you get free club rental.

If any discounts are applied to the greens fees (DVC, AP, etc.), then there is a charge for club rentals.

Has nothing to do with staying on points vs. cash hotel guest.
