Renting DVC points?

I am looking to rent through Daves DVC, and I know you can rent 11 months out, but is that 11 months to the day?? So I want to book sept 22, 2015, so do I have to wait until oct 22 to do this, or does all of September count as 11 months out?? Thanks.

And, in case it wasn't explicit enough from heynowirv, it is *not* the entire month but the DAY. You can reserve up to 7 nights starting on a specific day. So if you want your vacation to start on September 22, 2015, you would try to make the reservation starting on October 22, 2014. If you were to call on September 22, 2014, you'd be able to make a reservation for August 22, 2015.

David would have to have a member lined up who owns at that resort. You don't just request and he has it. So you may want to contact him a few days early.

If you want something in high demand, I'd contact him more than a few days early. And I'd still have a backup plan - for instance, if you want a BLT standard view room - those sometimes disappear before the member can make the call, even eleven months out. And that is assuming there is a member with BLT points who wants to rent. Right now, for certain resorts (generally new smaller resorts) there are more people wanting to rent than members who don't want to use their points for themselves.

If you aren't looking for something in high demand, you can wait, the right at eleven months thing applies to relatively few reservations.
