Renting DVC Points for Boardwalk Villas in September?

We've never rented DVC points before. We are interested in going down to Disney for 1 week in September. How many points would we need to rent for a Boardwalk Villa Suite? How does the process work? TIA for all of your help!

If you click on the link at the top of this board for the DVC points calculator it will tell you the points needed for the time of year and villa size you are looking for

As for how it works:

After you figure out how many points you'll need and what size villa and resort you want to stay in...post on the DVC Rent/Trade board how many points you're looking to rent or answer someone's post who has the points for rent.

Owners rent their points out typically for around $10 per point - so use that to figure out what it will cost you (there's no tax on it). Once you find someone to rent from it will be between you and the member as to the terms.
