Renting DVC points and Park Reservations

I feel stupid even asking this question... I have a park reservation for Sept 21 using my Gold AP. There is no AP availability for any parks for Sept 20, there are resort park reservations, though... I am considering renting DVC points for Sept 20. Would I be able to link the resort reservation to MDE and then make a resort guest park reservation?

I'm new to renting DVC points and apologize for my ignorance on the subject.

Yes, any resort reservation will give you access to that bucket for park reservation.
