Renting Club Points

I've never rented club points before and have a question:

Is tax added when renting points? For example, if I'm renting 86 points from someone at $10/point, will I be charged tax, or any other fees, in addition? Thanks for your help!!!!

No, there is no tax on point rentals. The only additional fee you may encounter would be the Dining Plan, if you decide to use it. It must be added to your reservation, by the DVC owner at least 48 hours before your check-in date. You would pay for that when you check-in at the resort.

You may add housekeeping for a fee once you are at the resort, if you need more service than what is included with the DVC reservation.

There are no taxes because you're renting a reservation from a private individual.
