We will be a group of 10, 5 adults and 5 children (13, 5, 4, 3, 2). We are planning on staying at the AllStar Vacation homes, and they have a promo that they give you a rental car with the stay. Ok, now is the tricky part, they offer an "intermediate" car and they use Enterprise. Now I know even a minivan is not going to hold 10 so I know we will be needing 2 cars. My dilema is this: do I use their "intermediate" car and rent a minivan or is another intermediate or compact car enough? We will have 3 car seats and a booster seat, and a double stroller to take to the parks every day. Out of the adults 3 drive, 2 don't. What would you do about the car sizes? Which rental place would you use for the other car? TIA! :thumbsup2

According to their site, the Intermediate cars include cars similar to Chevy Cobalt, Ford Focus and seat 4. Based on that, I'd think you'd need two full-size or an intermediate and minivan. (please note, I don't drive any of this type of car, nor do I have kids)

As far as what rental agency to use for the second car... whichever is cheapest, I guess. I tend to use Alamo and Budget, based on price.

You will need to rent a car which will hold 6 people if the intermediate holds 4. I'm not sure why you think a compact or another intermediate car would be large enough for 6 more people.

Use whatever rental agency you please, although I'd probably stick with Enterprise if your other car will be from them.
