Renting cabanas at a waterpark

We are going in late May on our arrival day and want to rent a standard cabana. How hard are they the get? I understand we can rent them 60 days out like our dining , but are they as hard to get as those on Castaway Cay so that we need to prioritize getting one before our dining choices?

They are not nearly as hard to get. I always rent a beach shack at Typhoon lagoon and it's easy at the 60 day mark. Do your ADRs first.

Edit: I just realized that you asked about cabanas. Do you mean at one of the resorts like Beach Club or Grand Floridian? Then those can be hard to get and I believe you have to call for those.
