Has anyone ever done this and had it work out? If so, who do you rent through? We drive from PA to FL and am considering this option unless it's too expensive.

Thanks for any info!

There are many companies that rent RVs to use at the fort. Last year for the first time we rented from Greenburg Rent A Camper, they take care of everything all you have to do is show up. When we arrived the trailer was all setup and the golf cart was waiting to go. Matt the owner was very professional and always available by phone to answer questions, everything you will need for your stay at the fort was included. All I brought was some coffee and had Garden Grocer deliver some food items the next morning since we flew in and didn't have a car. Check out their website (http://www.greenbergrvflorida.com) it is full of information and has pricing for the various trailers. We have a reservation with them for our next trip, this is the only way we will do Disney from now on, we had such a great time at the parks and the magic doesn't end at the fort since there is so much to do.

Sure - lots of folks have rented.

Just to be clear, the rental companies offer Travel Trailers of all sizes (one offers pop-ups but you might be too crowded in that) and not motorized Class A RV's.

We had a recent thread from this year on the subject. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3071135

Haven't heard any legitimately bad experiences from folks, quite honestly, but you will want to use due diligence of course.
