Renting a golf cart

I'm going in December staying at the Wilderness Lodge and my friend and I want to rent a golf cart and go looping to check out decorations should I request one before we go? What are the chances that all the golf carts in the campground are rented out? Do they only rent for the whole day or can you get a half day rental?

Thanks

You pay for 24 hours. You can use the cart for a few hours and turn it back in if you want. If you want one reserve it before you go. It depends on when you go in Dec. The Fort gets pretty crowded that time of the year.

If you want a golf cart for December, I would suggest that you go ahead and make the reservation now. You won't have to pay, but they will take a credit card number to hold the reservation. If you don't need it, just call and cancel....

From what I understand, this is a primo month at the Fort, and the carts will go fast. We will be going there the week after Christmas, and have already made our reservation with Kenny at Tee Time since we will be there the entire week. We usually go during Halloween and carts get scooped up quick during that time. I can only imagine what the availability WON'T be during December. Since you just want it for the day, I would just rent from the Bike Barn...

Since you have so much time to do it....rent from TeeTime golfcart rentals...the owner is highly recommended. Ive dealt with him, and he certainly goes above and beyond the call of duty with customer service!!!

And he is MUCH cheaper than Disney!

Way cheaper than Disney if he hasn't gone up since 09. We paid 377 for 6 days. next time I am renting frm Kenny!!! Well worth it to rent a cart. I could have just rented the cart and not gone to the parks. DS 18 loved it exploring all the loops etc. "Cheap (not so cheap) entertainment!

Yeah guys, I also would recommend Kenny... We have rented from him in the past, and will continue to rent from him as long as Disney lets him... However, the OP is staying at WL and just wants to rent a cart for one or maybe a half day... Wouldn't be easier just to get one from the bike barn and not have to worry about setting up a time to meet Kenny in the overflow lot, pick up the cart, use it, then have to do it all in reverse just for one or maybe a half day?

We campers usually use the cart for, in most cases a week, where time really doesn't make a whole lot of difference. If I were staying at a hotel and just want to use a cart for a short amount of time, I would not want to waste a lot of time just trying to get the thing...

Just a thought...

Will they rent a cart for 3 days? How do you get them from the offsite vendors?
