Renting a car at WDW

We are planning to rent a car for only one day during a trip. We've booked it with National from the WDW Car Care Center. Does anyone know where this is located? Also, will our Disney hotel provide us with a shuttle to the car center? TIA

If I remember correctly, the Car Care Center is across the road from Downtown Disney. But I could be badly wrong in this, as I never actually stopped there. Out of curiousity, though: why not just rent from the rental location inside the Dolphin resort? It's pretty convenient, I found. I used Alamo there, but can't remember if National was there.

You will be able to get complimentary shuttle service from your resort to the CCC - it's best if you can let them know a day ahead. There is a bigger choice of cars at the CCC, and they also have longer operating hours than the resort desks, e.i. Dolphin or Wyndham.

nc is right... there is a shuttle service between the resorts and the CCC. BTW, I believe the CCC is closest to the monorail resorts.

The Car Care Center is just inside the gates heading towards the TTC and Magic Kingdom Resort Area.

As stated, you will be able to get shuttle service from your resort to the Car Care Center.

There was no particular reason why we booked at the CCC rather than at the Dolphin. I have since re-booked at the Dolphin though! Will our hotel provide us with a shuttle to this car lot too? I got a warning on the screen saying that the lot will not be open when we return the car, but that they'll give us special instructions upon our return of the car.
I got a rate of $37.03USD, tax included using the priceless ID. Is this reasonable do you think? Thanks again for your help.

Hmm, in this case, they may have you rely on WDW transportation.

Question, if the lot is not going to be open when you return it, how will they give you special instructions when you return the car?

No problem. We don't mind using Disney transportation from the Dolphin. When we pick up the car in the morning, they'll give us the instructions for the return of the car. Thanks for your help!

They will tell you to bring the keys back and either give them to a bellman or dump them in a little "bucket" on thier desk. Make VERY sure the car is FULL!
