Hi everyone!

We are heading back to disney April 28-May 4th 2007. There is going to be 6 familys going. 19 people total. My question is....is it possible to rent 2 pools homes in Windsor Hills that are right next door to each other? :confused3 This may sound like a dumb question but this is my first time staying off site and I am the one trying to put the trip together. We have not decided if we are definitly staying off site but the pool homes seem like they might be a good match for our large group. We want to have 3 familys in each home. How would I go about trying to get them side by side?!?!

Also any insight on the weather/crowds that time of year? We usually go in October/November.

Thanks so much!!
Lisa

When I was searching for the right pool home I did get a response from an owner that had side by side houses... Not sure if it was Windsor Hills or Palms but when I get home this evening I'll dig the link up for you....

Hi there

Why not look on VRBO & then e-mail a couple of owners with pool homes that you like - a lot know their neighbours & can probably help you out.

We rent from Holly & Mark at romancingthemouse.com. I know that they have homes in both WH and WP and are side by side. Sent you a PM with info. HTH and have fun! :sunny:

Let us know what you find:) Book them as soon as you find something that works...either one owner/2 homes, or neighbours that will work together for you:)

You can do a general inquiry over on www.orlandovillas.com , or their sister sites as well... www.onlinefloridavillas and www.villasflorida.com

Their forums have a few posts about just this type of situation as well.

Again, let us know...Windsor Hills is popular, and books up quickly, I'm sure:)

...and don't forget, you won't be able to do the sleep-over thing...pool home owners have to be stringent about who is on the insurance forms for their licensing...just a tip to keep in mind for the kids:)

HTH!

Lisa: Romancing the Mouse (http://www.romancingthemouse.com/index.html) has 2 houses next to each other, one 5 bedroom and one 4 bedroom.

Huh? How would they know who slept where? All they asked us was how many adults and children. No names taken for the reservation other than mine. I'm not saying you're wrong - it just sounds crazy! But I'm not a pool home owner. ;)

As with most things,we probably wouldnt know unless there was a problem ,for example fire and the fire service may want to check all occupants safe-and I know they would contact owner or Management Company.
We are all licensed and have a maximum number of guests allowed in our homes-there should be a sign near the front entrance of home stating the legal maximum number of guests for that particular home.

Kind Regards,
Lynn

Have a look around. I'm sure you'll find the right choice for you. Thre's plenty of homes in the formosa gardens area near the parks

That's a surpsire -- that no names were taken. We have given the names, addresses and ages (of minors) whenever we have rented a vacation home (not just at WDW). I thought it was required for insurance purposes.

But in happier news TravelinGal-- our trips are only like 6 weeks away!!!!!
