Renting 1Bdrm VWL for Feb 2015??

I'm not real familiar with renting points but I'm looking more into it. Does that plan sound feasible or will it be less likely that we can get that? Me, husband, DD4(5 on trip) and possibly/probably my mother and brother (24).

The 1 bedroom villas at WL only sleep 4, you have 5. I'd look into AKV Kidani for a 1 bedroom to sleep 5. Ironically, I've heard with the refurb at VWL the studios will be able to sleep 5, so that might be a better option?

Room capacity is 5 but sleeps 4 so for the extra person you need to bring bed linens. With two adults being your mom and your brother plus you and husband, it does not sound doable b/c you only have two beds which need to be shared. You could bring a blow up mattress from home (or I think they rent them for maybe $15 a night yes rent-it's not included) and have your brother sleep on that. To me though, sounds tight. I'd cut out one person if I were you and it's much more doable.

While they will allow 5 in a 1 BR, I don't see any reasonable way for this to work with that group unless you split the beds by gender with 2 males on one bed and 2 females on the other. Plus you'll only have 1 bath. OKW, BLT & AKV 1 BR are going to be a much better option for you due to having the twin size pull out chair as an extra and additional bath options for AKV & BLT. Or you could just get a 2 BR villa at VWL. I think it comes down to how certain you are that all 5 will go and how much aggravation you want for the sleeping arrangements.

As to the question as to whether you can get the rental, the answer is likely including because 1BRs at VWL are usually open at 7 months out for any time in Feb and thus if you cannot find a VWL owner to make the reservation 11 months out, you will likely find someone who is renting that can do it at 7 months out.

As to those sleeping arrangements with five, at VWL you will likely need to figure out how to arrange the five you have in a one bedroom, and possibly bring air matresses or sleeping bags with applicable bedding, because as far as beds go, you have the king in the bedroom and a pull-out queen in the living room. OKW, AKV Kidani and BLT 1BRs, which are larger than the VWL rooms, have an extra twin sized sleeper chair and Kidani and BLT have a second bathroom and for those you would thus need to figure out how your particular group could use the combination of the king, pull out queen, and sleeper chair.
