Once I have a confirmation number from a DVC owner...is there a phone number that I can call Disney to confirm the number and to make requests to?

You can call DVC member services and give them the confirmation number. The person you are renting from will have the phone number. As I understand it, you can only confirm that you have a ressie, not make requests. HTH

The owner of the points is the only one who can make any requests. You should relay them to him/her and have her make them for you.

yes - when you get the DVC confirmation - there will a phone number on the bottom you can call and verify.
